Existing Homes.
New Possibilities.
Residential renovation rooted in transparency, sustainability, and thoughtful design.
Hi, I’m Katie.

I’m a licensed architect with more than 15 years of experience specializing in residential renovations and additions. I believe existing homes hold incredible potential and that thoughtful remodeling can transform the way people live without losing the character that makes a home meaningful.
My approach is collaborative, transparent, and rooted in understanding how people truly use their spaces. I work closely with homeowners to improve function, flow, light, and livability while building upon the strengths already present in a home.
I’m especially passionate about remodeling because of its role in sustainability. Existing homes should not be treated as disposable. Adapting and improving what is already built can reduce waste, limit unnecessary material use and create lasting impact through thoughtful design.
After spending ten years renovating my own 1927 cottage, I recently began updating a quirky 1979 multi-level home for my growing family.
Living through renovation firsthand continues to shape the way I design — with practicality, empathy, and attention to detail.
